The Second Chances Art Exhibit shares success stories of Career Academy graduates. Local artists go through a selection process and are paired with a Blue Jacket graduate to depict their story of trials, tribulations and triumphs through a variety of artistic mediums including acrylic paints, glass blowing, photography, sculpture and many more.

Blue Jacket’s Fantasy of Lights

Fantasy of Lights is one of northeast Indiana’s favorite winter holiday events. This drive-thru event is held at Franke Park in Fort Wayne, IN and transforms the local park into a spectacular winter wonderland with over 165 larger-than-life displays and 1,500,000 LED lights! It is also the leading fundraiser for Blue Jacket, Inc.

The Mighty Match Up

Join us April 10th for The Mighty Match Up, a one-day, 12-hour (7AM-7PM), initiative that fosters individual philanthropy in Allen County, Indiana. During this day of giving, Blue Jacket is raising funds to support our Career Academy Program. It costs Blue Jacket $600.00 for a client to go through our Academy, which includes two weeks of curriculum-rich instruction, free professional clothing, resumé building, mock interviewing, and job placement assistance for life. Your donation of any amount will help us provide this training and opportunity to those in our community with a barrier who are striving to earn gainful employment.

Chief Blue Jacket Day

Blue Jacket Inc. would like to celebrate Chief Blue Jacket Day in Fort Wayne by inviting friends and neighbors of Blue Jacket to attend a free block party on the Blue Jacket campus at 2826 Calhoun St. from 12PM -7PM. This event will include family friendly activities, food trucks, and music by local musicians as well as a national act – Matthew Szlachetka from Nashville, Tennessee who has performed on the Sweetwater stage previously.Blue Jacket Inc. hopes to foster a sense of community by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that encourages friends and neighbors to connect with one another. Through this event we aim to increase community awareness of our mission and to align ourselves as partners for a better Fort Wayne.We intend for this to be a calendarized celebration of Chief Blue Jacket every year in the Calhoun corridor. We hope to see friends and neighbors walking, riding their bikes, and bringing their families out to honor the life and legacy of Chief Blue Jacket and the mission of Blue Jacket Inc.
